  Doug McLaughlin - Vice President, Precast Division

Doug began his career in the precast industry in 1974 working in operations for a block manufacturing company.  Shortly after that, Doug participated in starting a small precast company manufacturing one specific product.  The company expanded their product offering and continued to grow throughout the 1980s.

In 1990 Doug purchased a minority position in that company, San Diego Precast Concrete, Inc and in 1996 he was promoted to President.  In September 1999, U.S. Concrete acquired San Diego Precast Concrete, and Doug took on the role of Vice President and General Manager.  Under Doug’s leadership, San Diego Precast Concrete has acquired and integrated three additional precast businesses.

In July of 2007 Doug was asked to assume the role of US Concrete’s Precast Division Vice President.  In his new capacity, Doug had operating responsibility for their 4 existing precast operations.  Since that time he has overseen the acquisition and integration of 4 additional companies.

Doug was a founding member of the California Precast Concrete Association and has served on the Board of Directors for seven years, including two terms as President of the Association.  In addition, he has served on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee for the National Precast Concrete Association, where he has chaired several committees, he has also served as President of the NPCA Educational Foundation.  Doug is a founding member of the Patrons Group for the Concrete Industry Management Program at Arizona State University. 



  Dale Godwin - General Manager, Southwest

Dale originally began his tenure with the company as a boom truck operator in 1996, and has since held the positions of Installations Manager, Delivery Manager and Operations Manager, a position which he held from 2004 to 2010, in which he oversaw all areas of operations within the Phoenix business unit.

Having resided in Phoenix since 1977, Dale brought with him a well-rounded logistics, sales and management background, including 10 years in distribution warehouse management and 20 years in varied sales and management positions, including ownership and management of an automotive retail business.


Having grown up as son of missionary parents, Dale benefited from 14 years spent overseas in Panama and Costa Rica, where he was able to become fluent in Spanish, as well as be exposed to a variety of cultures.  In January 2010, Dale Godwin was promoted to his current position of General Manager, US Concrete Precast Group – Southwest

Michael harlan   Greg Bull - Business Development Manager, Northern California

Greg Bull joined US Concrete Precast Group – Northern California in April, 1995.  Greg brought with him a background in Construction Sales and Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering.  Prior to coming to work for USCPG he spent four years with Hanson Concrete and was instrumental in opening a pipe distribution yard and fitting manufacturing plant.

Before that he spent seven years with Advanced Drainage Systems where he received awards for Rookie-Salesman-Of-The Year, Outstanding- Achievement- For- New- Product- Sales, and Salesman- Of- The -Year and two years before that with Kaiser Aluminum.  

After joining USCPG-Northern California Greg managed the pipe distribution yard for two years and then became Outside Sales Manager working with our underground customers, agencies, and sales people, while in that position he earned an award as Sales Manager Of The Year.   With reorganization and changes came the opportunity for Greg to become Sales Manager where he remained until a new opportunity of Business Development Manger was presented to him in May of 2011.



Michael harlan   Larry Gielenfeldt - General Manager, Northern California

Larry Gielenfeldt joined US Concrete Precast Group-Northern California in December of 2000. He brought with him a varied background of some 30 years of experience, including 5 years in drafting/design, 10 years in sales, including ready mix concrete, building materials, rebar and precast concrete, and estimating.

His experience also include 8 years of project management and general management as a business owner.

Larry began at US Concrete Precast Group-Northern California as the Director of Marketing and Sales, a position that he held until 2007, when he became Vice-president of Operations and in March of 2011 was named General Manager.



Michael harlan   Marc Davis- Sales Manager, South West
Marc Davis joined US Concrete Precast Group – Southwest in November of 2009.  Marc brought with him a background in commercial architecture and Technical Associates Degree in Architecture.

Prior to owning his own architecture firm Marc had 14 years of experience with drafting, site planning, design development, construction documents, municipal permitting, marketing and construction management. 

Marc owned and operated his own firm for 6 years where he was responsible for all aspects of managing projects, marketing and running the business aspects of the company for a total of 20 years experience in commercial architecture. 

After joining USCPG-Southwest Marc managed the production of drawings for production and submittals, plant permitting all the while learning the estimating aspect of the precast business.  Shortly thereafter working his way into Business Development using his contacts in the construction and engineering industry Marc began managing projects while shaping the direction of sales for the 2011 calendar year.  In January of 2011 Marc was promoted to Sales Manager.



Michael harlan   Steve Kenepp - Sales Manager, Mid-Atlantic

Steve Kenepp is a graduate of Lincoln Technical Institute where he obtained his Associates Degree in Architectural Drafting and Design. Steve joined Architectural Precast, LLC in 1997 as a project manager where he was responsible for overseeing and coordinating projects from design to occupancy.

Steve gained valuable experience in the precast concrete industry managing many multi-million dollar projects over the years. Steve spent eight years in project management prior to moving into the Sales Manager position.

The knowledge and experience Steve gained in project management is a vital asset to both our customers and manufacturing facility. Steve was promoted to Sales Director in 2007 when US Concrete acquired Architectural Precast. Steve’s current responsibilities include business development, marketing and sales related tasks from project inception to project award. Steve serves on the Board of Directors of the Mid-Atlantic Precast Association (MAPA), including one term as president in 2010.  Steve is also involved in the Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute (PCI) where he is a member of the marketing committee.

 

Michael harlan   Steve Schaffer - General Manager, Mid-Atlantic

Steve Schaffer is currently the General Manager with US Concrete Precast Group Mid-Atlantic. Steve has been with the company since 1993 and has held various positions with the company including; Purchasing Agent, Plant Manager, and CFO prior to being promoted to GM in 2008.

Steve was employed at Rotondo Penn-Cast where his duties included Project Management, Quality Control, and Sales. Steve’s wide variety of experience gives him the ability to understand and appreciate all phases of the company. He also has a degree in Business Administration / Economics, from Bloomsburg University.

 

Michael harlan   Todd Ebbert - General Manager, Southern California

Todd Ebbert currently serves as the General Manager of the Southern California division of the US Concrete Precast Group. He joined US Concrete in 1999 at the acquisition of San Diego Precast Concrete Inc. As an owner of that company, Todd held many positions since 1979 including Foreman, Plant Manager, and Vice President of Operations.

With 34 years of precast concrete experience in manufacturing, sales, and engineering, Todd played a large role in the company’s reputation for leadership and innovation in the industry. In 2007 Todd directed the design and building of the company’s new 18 acre plant in San Diego. The plant has been nationally recognized as a leader in precast technology and efficiency.

The company was recently named as Supplier of the Year by San Diego Gas & Electric, a Sempra Energy company.  In 2008 the San Diego subsidiary acquired the former Pomeroy plant in Perris, CA. with a wide range of pre-stress and transportation products.

As a current member of the Board of Directors of the National Precast Concrete Association, Todd is recognized as a resource and promoter of the precast industry. As General Manager, his current responsibilities include the sales, business development, and overall operational management of the Southern California division of the US Concrete Precast Group.
